“SOI is an award winning and globally unique educational program. We believe in connecting youth to nature and fostering within them an appreciation for the planet, themselves and each other. Indigenous youth and educators from the North and beyond are integral part of every SOI expedition, helping us to explore and understand the places we visit. Annually, more than 30% of expedition participants call the north home. SOI expeditions catalyze interest in, awareness of and appreciation for Inuit culture and traditional homelands amongst and across participants”.
