COMMUNITY BASED REGISTERED NURSE (Part-time)
The Health Center for Bear River First Nation is looking for a key member of our health team. If you have a passion for community and public health, love to work as part of an enthusiastic team and want to help us make a difference in the overall health and wellness of our community, we invite you to apply.
As our Nurse, you would be responsible for managing the delivery of various public health programs and services and working as a part of the health team to develop and deliver various health and wellness programs and services. You would be working in cooperation with the Nova Scotia Department of Health and Indigenous Services Canada providing health education, promotion and reporting in the following areas but not limited to: Communicable Disease Control, Immunizations, Pre/Post Natal, School Health Education, Home Care Nursing as well as supervising Home and Community Care Program.
We are a small but welcoming community and are looking for a team player that has good technical, organizational, communication and computer skills. If you hold a valid NS Registered Nurses License, a Valid Drivers License and have the ability to travel we welcome your application.
